We came from two different regions, Florida and North Carolina. And we met by one commonality, we were dating brothers. Since then, the similarities became more frequent, which led us to this endeavor.
We’re both what we’d still call newlyweds, married in 2009. {and yes, we married those brothers we spoke of}
So, now… we’re sister-in-laws.

We’re both one of 2, with an older sister. And most recently, we both took on the title, “Mom.” And of course, pretty much at the same time. Not sure we could have arranged that more perfectly if we tried. We each gained a nephew and a niece within exactly 4 weeks.
We left our jobs upon the delivery of our babies and since have had the privilege to stay home with our little ones, and if you were wondering, we live 3 blocks from each other.
After a quick trip to Home Depot one random Friday afternoon, we purchased a sander, and the rest is history. We went to work on a few pieces of furniture we already owned, giving them some life and came to love each and every change in our home. We are continually looking for wood accent pieces to refinish and are to trying out new techniques and ideas with each piece.
Since then, our houses have become too small to continue bringing in new furniture. But we didn't want our love for hunting down fun pieces and giving them a makeover to come to an end as well.
A Southern Charm has been born to display our latest work with hopes that your home could use a little extra charm as well.
